OtownGist is seeking a Presenter & Media Engagement Manager to take our digital outreach efforts to the next level. This role combines presenting, strategy, creativity, and audience engagement across all platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Present engaging content on various platforms (live streams, videos, podcasts, and more).
- Manage OtownGist’s social media presence on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and others.
- Publish and broadcast news across the website and messaging channels (WhatsApp, Telegram).
- Engage with audiences through comments, messages, and live interaction.
- Design and implement creative strategies to boost engagement and grow our digital audience.
- Monitor performance via analytics and report on reach, engagement, and audience growth.
- Collaborate with editorial and production teams to ensure timely, relevant content.
Ideal Candidate:
- Strong presentation skills – you know how to grab attention and keep it.
- Experience with social media platforms and digital engagement.
- Good writing and communication skills.
- Familiar with tools like Meta Business Suite, Instagram Insights, and Telegram.
- Video or podcast editing skills (a bonus!).
- Minimum of OND or its equivalent.
- Outgoing personality with a passion for media and storytelling.
